Speech and Debate USA is a national speech and debate club that prepares its members for competition in the National Christian Forensics and Communications Association (NCFCA) league. Speech and Debate USA utilizes technology in a unique way, by connecting debaters from across the country into a single web of competitors. The club meets on-line twice a week and helps coordinate in-person speech and debate practice. This innovative forum maximizes the busy homeschooled student's schedule and productivity, by eliminating travel time and allowing club members to share information and evidence from across the country—giving participants a competitive advantage.
Additionally, Speech and Debate USA focuses on Platform and Limited preparation speeches. Although members are welcome to engage in Interpretation speeches in competition—and Speech and Debate USA coordinates practice sessions for those events—club meetings currently specialize in Platforms and Limited Preparation speech training.
